There are "Say No To Drugs" commercials and programs aired regularly encouraging us not to use drugs.  But what about those who for whatever reason have not said "No" ? What about our kids who because of peer pressure or the need to be accepted and loved turn to drugs and alcohol?  What about the single mother who can't take the pressures of life and leaves her kids to get high?  What about the dad with a back injury who can't work and now is addicted to prescription drugs?  Or the youth director secretly addicted to pornography?  Do we forget about them?  Do we just ignore them and treat them like they are not human beings?

All over America and around the world people are struggling with addictions to drugs, alcohol, gambling, eating disorders, pornography, lust, anger, etc.  Some have given up and are homeless, living on the streets, but the majority of them  work with us, live next door to us, live in the house with us, sit next to us in church, and stand in our pulpits.  Lives are being destroyed and families ripped apart.    Although we see the physical manifestation of it daily, it is a spiritual battle.  As believers we cannot turn up our noses or pretend we don't see what is happening around us.

Help us save someone's mom or dad, brother or sister, son or daughter, husband or wife, friend, co-worker, by uniting with us in prayer for 1 minute a day.  Join us as we connect with believers around the world in prayer for those who are bound. It is time for us to take a stand against the real enemy  and stand in the gap for our brothers and sisters.

We are praying for those bound by addictions as well as their families and loved ones. If you have an addiction and would like to be added to our daily prayer list or if  you know someone who is struggling with an addiction of any kind, please submit their name(s)  to us as well as the names of their family members.
